I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what parts I could get with any noticeable hp gains under $500. Normally I would start with intake and exhaust, then get an underdrive pulley or something. Parts seem kind of limited but I see people on here doing swaps with other engines alot like beams and stuff. Anyone help me out?

Any idea where I can purchase them for a good price? Looks like I need a safc too to get big gains.

Well I found the website. Look's like I have to send mine in? They don't have prices either. Hmm..

Okay so I will keep those cams in mind and do some more research. Right now I am thinking about a new header, removing the cat, short ram, and safc wit ha dyno tune. You guys think that might have any gains? Are these ebay headers any good?

Id put money on the cylinder head and valve seat combination being less than optimal, most likely power to be had there.

If i ever get my mitts on a 5sfe head ill do a series of flowtests and put the details up here for others to follow.
Doing an audi head at the minute so im up to my ears in that one.

Hi Stephen thanks for that offer but i think shipping from texas to the uk will be a killer! smile.gif Cost me 42 bucks for an oil seal to be shipped.

Ill keep my eyes open for one locally, probably can pick one up el cheapo and i dont mind seeing what its got vs what it can give.
any info gleaned ill pass on as and when i get it , gives me a side project and keeps me on my toes. wink.gif
Thanks again, much appreciated. smile.gif
