Hey guys,
So the alternator fuse blew in my 94 GTS today, replaced the 7.5 fuse, everything was fine and the battery was charging again. I originally lost all my gauges, power windows and the car was only running off the battery. About 20 minutes after replacing the fuse, it blew again. I know i'm having a misfire issue in cylinder 3, the rubber at the bottom of the plug wire broke off so its not making a good connection. (Replacing the wires tomorrow) but my question would be...if its not getting a good connection and could be getting an arc in that cylinder, could that be shorting out the fuse or should i be looking at other wiring issues? Any response would be great. Thanks |

I assume you checked the battery cable connectors because the can get corroded and cause the same symptoms. This post has been edited by xrav22: Feb 22, 2012 - 1:07 AM |

You wouldn't happen to have an aftermarket hoodliner would you? I had the Dynamat Hoodliner (with an aluminum surface) that shorted out my electrical system when it got loose.
