Wasn't bad enough... i drove the car into a ditch haha.

I'm trying to get my step dad convinced to rally, but the trees scare him haha. he's down to race, he just wants to circle track it though lol

I'd love to get into it but I don't have any rally competitions anywhere near me nor do I have the funding. Besides, you can't talk about not being a BAMF when you laugh about putting your car in a ditch when all the rest of us would flip out.

You're only about 3 hours from 100 Acre Wood. Closer than I am to any rally. 100 Acre is coming up in 3 weeks, it's a national race, all the big names will be there. Convince the wife, go volunteer to be a marshall. You get all the best spectator areas. Most of the people that get into it, start by volunteering and getting there.

The weekends are a lot of fun.



As far as laughing, well I was kinda pissed for a little, but they say that if you rally long enough its not a matter of IF it's WHEN (usually referred to rolling a car)

Circle track is boring stuff compared to this though.... Just tell him not to hit the trees.





It is! Sometimes stressful, but its much more fun than track days or anything like that, it's a battle.

you gonna come to Ojibwe Forest rally if they have it? I havent gone up to it since the last year it was a national event (~09 or so) and my buddy is from there. id come hang out

Haha, is that lemons/chumpcar? There's one about 45 minutes from my house, I considered throwing a rust bucket into the race... I have all the safety stuff would just have to build a cage, but i'm just to busy right now. Maybe next year.

Ahh man I wish I was there right now. Entry field looks awesome. Former WRC Driver, Block, Leo, Lestage, Higgins, lots of great cars there.



We maaay try and go next year. It's about a 12 hour tow for us though, and less than a month after sno*drift. Have fun! Take and post some pics in here, i'd like to see them.

That video is actually a pretty good comparison to the roads we actually race on.

Alright, I've got new front bumper/fenders after the damage from last race. Need to paint them.


I really don't want to paint the entire car, so i'm going to paint the roof what's already rattle canned blue, front fenders/bumper/hood/roof. I'm going to leave the rest white.


Any suggestions on good blue that would look nice with a two tone white? I was thinking something along these lines.
