I have indeed. It was a butt-puckering experience.

In that video. It says Ken Gushi was driving, but I'm sure they used Dan's footage for the near-collision. The attraction that deer has to the front of the car is uncanny.

when I went to pick up some parts from the dealer, I asked about the FRS. I was curious if there would be any factory support for a Forced Induction set up for it, and the guy said "well the BRZ is getting a factory turbo kit... which means if the BRZ gets it we can get it too." and he went on to talk about how they could get the lights as well and other stuff. so besides the aftermarket (I've already seen the Greddy turbo'd FRS race car) it SEEMS like you can ask for the BRZ Turbo kit. but the Dealer could have been talking out of his ass just to get a potential buyer.

but even still I am going to try and test drive one in June. I'm excited.

Well, if it's a kit sold seperately and it'll fit on the Scion, why not just buy it from the Subaru dealer?

If it's a kit sold for the BRZ, I have my doubts of Scion carrying it. Subaru will be the one offering it only. I'm sure TRD will have a turbo kit or a super charger kit ready.

Got to look at one of these, well the Subaru version, up close yesterday at a local Subie dealership.

Pictures + Video 1 + Video 2

My personal take: smaller, a tad wider, and shorter than my dropped (1.5") 99 GT. The backseats are both more of a joke than the Celica and yet probably more useful for things like carseats or just extending the trunk/cargo space. I can't wait to test drive one though.
