I gave them the option of paying me close to 2 grand or we could all go to court, needless to say my check came overnighted. biggrin.gif

And they only got $300 for recycling it. laugh.gif

Just curious, what did the cops have to say, were they going to allow you to lay charges? This happened to a friend of mine once too but he got the car back before it was crushed or dismantled.

The officer investigating wanted to take it to court but the prosecuting attorney would'nt because it was'nt stolen on purpose, he said it was a mistake because they thought my car was on the other property.
