Nice, I like the blue. I'm totally jelly. Mine's red, I hate red. Nice to see a woman drive manual. Good luck on getting the car how you want it. Thanks, its coming along. Right now Lil-Joe and I are working on it from the inside out. I just cant wait til I can lower her do the gt4 front end. She sits too too high for my taste. Depending on your roads may want to go with a minor drop like the Tein springs, or spring of your choice. What I have on mine, drops it 1.5". Which with the terrible roads we have around here it's too much at times. Hopefully your roads are better. I'd like to do the GT-4 front myself, but I'm too cheap. Looks good though when done. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I've got that same e-brake handle. I've noticed that you have to dremmel out the inside a bit to get the button to actually come out of it though. I got pissed with having to push the button further than the face of the head to get it to release.

Looking good, now all you need is oil pressure and maybe oil temperature. One of these days I'll install an oil pressure gauge in mine.

I feel like the only useful gauge on that... isn't on there... Why do you need air fuel? Are you going to run an SAFC and cams? Water tempt is already on your dash, and volts... well I guess that's useful. Not to be a troll, but why not oil pressure, since those engines are known to burn and break oil down quickly?

Indeed, oil pressure is important. Yes they have the dummy lights, but can be too late by then. Why all cars don't have them I'll never know. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

She's not building the car for perfomance she is building it for show. the a/f R is wired into her audio system to measure bass output and the water temp is there because she wants it there. Her car is pretty much a rolling boom box and thats how she wants to build it. I for one am backing her up and offering to help in any way that I can just for the simple fact that a woman is building her own car and I love the idea that she is doing something different. Update 3/6/12
Well an update on the car today, I got the exhaust redone with 2.5'' pipe from the cat. Also my E-Brake boot finally came in so I installed that as well. Here are some pics after I picked her up. Will be installing the headers in two weeks. I can't wait!!! My new steering wheel and Headers: -------------------- |
