I suppose I can use 215/45-17 tires with 8"-wheel but does anyone have pictures how tires will fit those wheels? I can't find 225/40 tires and 235/40 is too wide for me. And I have already 8" wheels so I don't want to buy new ones...

215/45 is gonna be a bit streched on a 8" wide wheel.
225/45 would fit/look better.

Maybe, but 225/45 decreases acceleration smile.gif

I use 225-47-17 F1's on my 8J rims. Cant say it's too wide in fact the tyre wall looks perfect. Doesnt bulge out and doesnt look stretched.

Um no? Technically it increases the rate of deceleration which will require slightly more output from the engine for the same effect but it also increases traction which is a good thing.
You'd be hard pressed to prove the slight decrease in MPG also.

I have to say that looks quite perfect. I think I will take 225/45...

Your tires will curve in and expose your rim to more damage potential with the 215. I am running 225 on a 7.5 and its nice.

only prob with that is when your tire gets low or if you have a flat and hit a bump. its less protected, other than that, those tires do look nice.

If anything it looks more stretched than it really is due to the camera angle. I have 195s on my 15x8s and its BARELY stretched. Granted I spend most of my time in the drift community so my version of barely is probably a little different than some. A 215 though should be fine. I doubt you'll have any problems.
