If I wanted a deep lip on my rims (like in the pics below) and I decide to go to say discount tire or I order online, what numbers would I be wanting to write down so I could be sure the parts dealer knows what Im looking for? I already have a size for height 17x ?, 5X100 but as far as width and offset Im completely lost. It's negative offset. And you won't find it at Discount Tire. -------------------- 2006 BMW 330i - 6 Speed - Dinan Stage 1

Ok say I want to go 9, 9.5, or even push the limit to ten. what would be my asking numbers then? I already know the modifications thats required and ready to do it. Just more concerned about my numbers. Say I wanna go 17x9-9.5 5x100. What would be my offset to get that kind of lip? fist of all if you want that look go with 18s not 17s. you will need strech tires too. so this is what you can do: get the xxr502 which has a wide lip. get 18x9.5 all around with et35. you will be pretty close on the front fenders and you will need to pull out the fender about 5mm (not to much and not impossible) and get 10mm spacers for the back to be flush! and use 225/40 tires all around. you can get them here http://www.frsport.com/XXR-502-High-End-Tu...ck_p_19099.html and this is how they look wraped on 225/40 check this audi. he has this set up in the rear http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.p...;-*HELLA-FLUSH* -------------------- |

Just bought some 18x8 with 35 offset. What are the biggest widest tires I can run with out rubbing or needing to modify anything? Looking for higher sidewall more than anything else. I don't mind if they run a little on inner plastic, I can fix that with some heat.

Hey guys, I have browsed some of the fitment pages, but couldn't fimd anything on this exact setup. Would a 8.25" rim with an offset of 36 fit with stock suspension? I feel from what I read, I may need
a small spacer. Also, I could get these rims with an offset of 22. Would I have to get a wider rim in that case? This post has been edited by BertaCelica: Nov 20, 2017 - 11:29 AM |

I ran 225/40/18 with this wheel width and offset, on tien s-tech/gr2's and had slight rubbing in the rear over large dips. Didn't have rolled fenders though. -------------------- -Protection mode, For when your amp tries to blow its load. 1995 Toyota Celica GTS - Daily Driver 1999 Chevy Cavalier - Winter Beater 1994 Honda Civic CX Hatchback - Dead My Celica! |

Sorry to revive old thread,
From going through I lot of research and found wheels that actually have offsets I'm looking for I think these wheels will work extremely nicely but just want to get a second opinion(I'm only about 1"lower than stock) . For front wheels pair of 18x8.5" with et +30 offset For rear wheels pair 18x8.5" with et +15 offset (possibly put a 3-5mm little spacer if the for some reason I turn out not happy with the fitment but should be fine) If im correct these should be close enough to flush for my liking and avoiding a sunken look and no scrubbing? |

I'm not sure where exactly to post this question and I didn't really want to make a new thread just for a question.
I was thinking of putting on some wheel spacers on my 94 celica st202, Will a 25mm fit? Or are the threads on the stock hub too long? |

spacers over 15mm are all bolt on spacers unless you install extended studs
For spacers less than 25mm, the OE studs will be exposed past the face of the (bolt on) spacer. Be sure that whatever wheels you are using have a recess in them so the exposed OE bolts have area to sit in the case you are using bolt on spacers above 15mm and below 25mm This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Nov 5, 2018 - 12:38 PM -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |
