Hey all.
I've been wondering what people would suggest body wise, I want to add a more aggressive look to my cars body. I find the veilside style bodykit to be over the top though, does anyone have any suggestions? Bodykits or splitters all suggestions are considered. I have a postfacelift body with OEM sides and a 3 post spoiler. But I think I'd definitely like a bigger spoiler, I find they add a lot to the general aesthetics of our cars. |

Could get the SS splitters. That or putting the GT-4 front end on it, would make it look more aggressive looking.

It will look nautral but aggressive, where as alot of aftermarket stuff looks unnatural and over the top IMO. And it will all be factory. "Hey why did you put that stupid spoiler on that FWD car?" "Thats a factory spoiler from Toyota you twat!" Dont forget to ditch those goofy post facelift taillenses for the prefacelift taillights or JDM taillights. They look alot less common and cooler in my opinion but if you like the ones you got then keep those This post has been edited by Special_Edy: Apr 21, 2012 - 12:32 PM |

As far as spoiler, I know if it were me I'd try and get the Euro raiser blocks for the 2 post. Not as dramatic as the GT-4, but have a good look to them. Think someone is selling some now. I just don't have the $$ for them currently, otherwise I'd get them.

Thanks for the input guys, cause I'm in AUS the postage is crazy to get anything out here.
I like the ideas, I haven't seen a gt4 here ever, so I'm not sure what it would take to get one. Can anyone tell me anything about hiro splitters, I've heard of them but I can't find any info. Just trying to cover all the bases, also same with the trd spoiler. |

I would think getting parts from Japan wouldn't be too expensive, surely not as much as it'd cost to get here in the States I'd think. These are what the Hiro splitters look like. On the rear bumper on the corners.

Never seen that kit before. All else fails contact the seller and ask if they'd be kind enough to share where they found their kit.

They all look like they came from CarMate.com.au. Alot of mixed reviews by them though.

Yeah just got a reply from the owner, he's unsure what they are as he bought it like that.
But I think you may be right, and yeah I've heard very mixed reviews about carmate also but I suppose there aren't many options in AUS is there? |

Not really, unless you want to ship things over.
Getting replica front and rear splitters wont set you back too much, probably around $350. But if your up for it, you can buy the ones from carmate (which have replica splitters too, but not sure about them) and modify them to fit. -------------------- |

I would say to keep your OEM sides, make a front end GT4 conversion, put a front c-one style lip (probably replica that is a lot cheaper only problem you might need some body work to make it fit properly) also put two post spoiler with GT4 raising blocks and rear ssIII spliters. That way you will look more stock and in the same time aggressive. Other than that the wheels choice and size will complete the package, wheels are very important IMO so you will have a cool car but not overdo etc it with 20'' and other rice staff. Hope I gave you an idea but that is my opinion. Good luck |

Marinos, I really like you're idea, since I just did a search on your suggestion. And I definitely agree with you on the subject of rims
Is anyone able to reccomend where these parts could be obtained without costing an arm and leg in postage? |

If you decide finally with the gt4 front conversion make sure to get the front crash bar the side indicators and the foglight if you want the fogs because yours wont fit on the gt4 bumper so if your patient you might find a gt4 front clip and if you don't wont the 3sgte you can sale the other parts. Oh you also gonna need and a longer hood latch. This might give you an idea http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=63523 the cone front lip you can find it from yellowchinaman he is a member here or here http://www.aerokit.eu/eng/product.php?product_id=156 The good thing tho with the gt4 bumper you wont have fitting issues like the most frp bodykits that might cost you more at installation, but with the front lip you might have some issues because its replica but that depends from were you will buy it. Sorry but I cant help you more |

Keep an eye on ebay for the GT-Four front end parts. That's where I got mine, and everything was located in Australia so the postage was nice and cheap.
The parts aren't exactly common, so it's just a matter of checking ebay every week until you find what you need. PS. Stick with original (or replica) Toyota body parts. That white Celica looks bloody terrible in my opinion! -------------------- |

Try celica gt4 hood or celica gt4 bonnet, st205 hood, st205 bumper and try different other thinks with any combination you can think
relative to what you want. Check the ebay.com and also the ebay.co.uk frequently until you find what you need. |
