They're OEM Toyota sideskirts. I think they were only available in Europe.

So what you're saying is, PITA to find? Lol.

I want them because I feel they'd look great with my OEM post-facelift splitters.

I see them all the time in my country. They shouldn't be too hard to find if you're willing to import them. smile.gif

Finding someone to import them from is the issue. RPM garage doesn't have them, they're not on eBay... and I don't know of any sites that have them.

Aren't those used in houses, without electical tape?
I don't see the issue not using them here as well.

If you use the right size nuts for the wire size they'll never come off unless you literally twist them off.

It could be argued a house is not a rolling object with tons of vibrations which could potentially loosen or disconnect the wire nut...

Meh been using them for years and never had one fall off.

That's all I was concerned with haha I know they shouldn't fall off, but bumps and potholes can do a wonder to anything on a car

I had that same head unit installed in the same manner in my car, and used the same method installing the new one. No issues running that setup for three years now.

Rabid, sounds like a hell of a day.

Lol, done that a few times...not the auto locking, but locked them in the car.

Beer and wings ftw!

I've managed to get them out before with a few branches laying around. Grabbed some paper towels, a few sticks to make the window bulge out, and then got another long stick to hit the locking switch. Was a moment of genius I must admit.

Today a Toyota mechanic diagnosed my car.... Gotta replace wheel bearing, front left shock and CV joint. Quoted me 1400 in parts alone. Gotta find some second hand parts!

Today I placed a rather large bid on a rather expensive item. But it's a cool item and I want it tongue.gif

I also kind of want to be outbid just so I don't have to spend that much cash.

Today I won said item tongue.gif Only cost $114. I have yet to be hit with shipping charges, which will hurt dearly.

Coming from Japan. Not really intended for the BEAMS, but...

http://www.bidjdm.com/bidding/auction/view/id/t202012327/
http://www.6gc.net/parts/243

TRD Version S exhaust for a 3rd gen 3S-GE. It'll work better for my BEAMS than the 2" stock exhaust I have now. Comes with the catalytic converter and everything behind it. Only $114 for the exhaust but shipping will probably be $350.

I got a buddy that runs a locksmith service that works third shift an he just happen to drive his truck to work
So he came out an unlocked me an gave me a jump

At autozone the strut is $80, the axle is $60, and the bearing is prolly $120 to $200. The strut and axle have a lifetime warranty, the bearing a 1-3 year. Not as high of quality as the genuine toyota parts but much cheaper. If you do the labor yourself its a great deal but if your paying a mechanic for labor then the warranties dont help out as much.

You might want to replace both sides BTW, not that you have to but these parts tend to wear equally on both sides of the vehicle.(actually quicker on the passenger side because most drivers hit more speedbumps and potholes with the pass side)
