Well my grandma just passed and I only want to remember her smile. I don't do well with death. I've lost 3 gmas this time of year. Her and 2 in may. I know I've cried today and I know I will keep catching myself wanting to cry and I know I can distract myself when it comes to cars

I will do my best to make story time enthralling enough to take your mind off of your loss for a few hours at least.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Are we set on pizza then? I'll need to make reservations and find an appropriate location.

Can I get a head count on those planning on attending dinner? (and no, gluten-free girl is not going to be there this time.)

If this doesn't tell you how committed we are to coming.... my family is preparing to pull the plug on my gma tonight. So please if you read this and remember this weekend and see me upset please try and cheer me up. It's hard for me but I need to be happy.

My aunt passed a couple weeks ago, my uncle was too ill to even go see her in hospice. He'll be passing soon too. All but one grandparent of mine is gone, and he's a step-grandfather. I know how that goes.

The one guy who was supposed to come works till 3, so he may join you all in the city for Pizza. I'll give him Chris's number and he can call and see where you guys are if he wants to go out.

I'll have none of the things I wanted to do to the Celica done for this meet. Maybe for the next one. Outside influences keep interfering with me getting stuff done.

Well I can not give him your number if you would prefer. Friend of mine who welded my exhaust after I helped him fix his laptop. Nice guy.

Aliens?

No, where I work on my car is a friends barn and a snowmobile on trailer is supposed to be getting stored in a corner of it which means the center needs to be clear. So I can't start work till that thing gets dropped off and he keeps dragging his feet and changing when he's doing that. I can't even get the brakes off the Mazda that I need to cut until he does that, and I can't start working on the Celica till I get the Mazda brakes cut so I have a car to drive. It'll get done, just annoying me. I NEED to get the Mazda done sooner than later, I have a road trip and would rather drive it down to see my mother.

I'm assuming it'll be at some point shortly after the hike, maybe cruise straight into the city.

I checked a few days ago and saw 60 and sunny. Now I'm seeing 46 and a 30% chance of rain for Utica. frown.gif

****, rained at the first one. Didn't stop us then! If it's a bit cold and there's a little drizzle it just means we'll have the place even more to our selves. Lets check out the canyons on the other side of the road or something.
