engine has nothing to do with what TO bearing you use. it all has to do with the tranny. so get one for a MR2 turbo with LSD

engine has nothing to do with what TO bearing you use. it all has to do with the tranny. so get one for a MR2 turbo with LSD 1993 Lexus ES300 or Camry V6 should work too off of 1MZ I think thats the motor they had in them. My trans came off of Lexus so used es300 but their same tranies as MR2 LSD's My set up 4th gen 3sgte, Mr2 Fidanze f.w.+ Mr2 Exedy Stage 1 dsk/p.p.+Lexus Es300 trans, Timken TO for Es300 think their same numbers as Mr2. Check it out on rockauto.com. And dont buy junk TO's, get something like Timken, SKF, Koyo, NSK anything else I would stay away from if its not made in USA, Japan or Europe dont buy it. Or u be doing it twice, TO that came ith trans at 150K miles was way bettern than the TO I pulled out with just under 1000miles on it. And yeah tranies are same havent changed all E153's and S53's besides shift cable locsation. Matt. |
