Nice work man, looks like it's going to turn out sweet. Can't wait to see these mounted! Thanks! Is there a link or something where I can get those clear lenses? I also want to do a retrofit but I cant find any clear lenses... I'd like to know that too. I've PM'ed Jrunik and Rayme bot no reply. malhar95 is suppose to get back to me on this too. I don't think Rayme logs in anymore. Jrunik just happened to be selling a set he bought from rayme. So, I guess used or malhar95 are the options now. I think you could make these easy, seeing the awesomeness that comes outta your shop! -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

I've got a pair of clear lenses for sale from Malhar95
Great Job smkr3w! I was going to do the exact same thing with my retrofit (the LED turns and black housing... happy to see how amazing it looks!) but i don't exactly have the time nor funding for it If anyone is interested I also have 2 jdm low beams for sale. I already dismantled the lens off one but never had the time to do the other. let me know if anyone is interested. This post has been edited by v1becelica: Jun 7, 2012 - 11:49 AM |

I want to make a one off for my self and not prepared to fork out for HQ mass production. Anyone know how I can contact Rayme? The ones he made look quite good. |

Late night change of mind..
I think I'm going to ditch the current shroud setup and try for something else. My OCD/perfectionism is going to get the better of me -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

Tried Mini Gatling shrouds from TRS? They look really good. I have them but they don't cover the entire inside of the headlights... so pretty much I'm making a shroud to go behind the shroud... -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

I only KIND of like the LEDs. I just don't like them in blue. The idea is cool, but I would've prefered halos

I think it would look too bare with just the prijector and halo, because the actual housing would be so much bigger than the projector.

My thought exactly plus the leds contrast a little to the roundness. We have two round circle-ish low beams and two round highbeams, why throw in another circle light inside of it? just my opinion tho. moar pics soon -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

She's finally put back together and all done!
**Edit** Also when I arm/disarm the alarm with the remote key fob, the led strips act in place of the marker lights and flash as well I tried posting a video but quality sucks and cant see sh*t This post has been edited by smkr3w: Jun 13, 2012 - 9:28 PM -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

Really cool! Liking it a lot. I never realized how apathetic a Celica looks without a front bumper on and just the two outer headlights rofl.

I know right, I'm used to my car always somewhat "smiling," and the past two weeks I've been driving with out a bumper and hihgs, and it was kinda bumming me out -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

I think these were the easiest to install and they came out really well, but you could've used a MUCH larger projector (like FX-R I think they're called?) to make use of the whole housing and get better light while at it... a bi-xenon would've been awesome and do some kind of high-beam delete for a different look.

Love the lights But now get to work on those emblems!!!! Okay, fine.... I think these were the easiest to install and they came out really well, but you could've used a MUCH larger projector (like FX-R I think they're called?) to make use of the whole housing and get better light while at it... a bi-xenon would've been awesome and do some kind of high-beam delete for a different look. the price difference wasn't worth the size difference for me, but the fx-r's are nice. My mini's have a solenoid to bi xenon option, but decided go a diff route. -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |
