I put 215/50 on mines. Like them even in stock color, especially with 3l2 paint. I agree that 16x6.5 is not the best match but i wouldn't say it's a failure.

P.s: I'll get spacers next summer...

thread resurrection

I really like the gts wheels but my wheels appear to have a sunken in look, what would be the right size spacers. I read earlier in this thread +43 but in the same comment he added the wheels were fail so I don't know if it was just a large number thrown out cause he didn't like the wheels. others here said they were gonna put spacers what spacer sizes did those who have used

No, our 7th Gen. GT (the "base" model) came with those 15" wheels while the ones everyone else in the thread has are the GT-S (higher trim) 16" wheels.

What size spacers did you have to run to make the rims clear the calipers??

offset on stock 7th gen wheels are +39 but wheel width is actually 6.5 inches compared to 6th gen gt rims are 7 inch wide. my guess is a 10mm spacer.

you need at least a +35mm offset to clear gt4 front calipers on a 7 inch wide rim.
