Where are you going to run your wire harness through? The normal port where the 5S harness goes, or are you going to punch a hole in on the driverside-ish? The motor I got was already swapped into a celica so the harness was already extended to go through the stock 5S spot, so I'll just run it through the same spot. ![]() Oh right... I forgot about that. Nice. ![]() -------------------- |

since I'm moving the battery to the trunk I decided to put a battery cut off switch under the hood. Found a nice clean spot to mount it

Looks good, Jess.
Shouldnt the cutoff be accessible from the outside of the vehicle? (in case of accident) -------------------- |

If I were racing, yea I'd need an external one. This one is so that I can disconnect the battery to work on the electrical system without having to unbolt anything. |

Hey!!! Can you guess who this is
![]() ![]() Thats my parents garage thats in the first half the build thread!!! we've been breaking things in there since way back when we had motor scooters at like age 14. thats when our "problem" first started. lol. ever since we've been getting better and doing bigger and better things... and breaking bigger and better things... haha but now we can fix em. me and him, no schooling, no teachers, self taught, and the two most anal people when it comes to our cars. I love helping/ working with him because he is the only one I know who hates gaudy, unnatural, cheap, half assed mods as much as me. Anyway. Whats up man. after reading this for the last couple hours. Seeing all these pics in order is like a replay of my life. lol. I very specifically remember being there for a good chunk of this, or here and there at least but for all the times ive been there only 1 lousy pic of my car made it ![]() Everything looks so great. what a great idea to put the washer fluid there. what genius gave you that idea ![]() ![]() I also thought you wrapped your exhaust not painted it? Now that I read yours, its your turn to read mine. lol. http://my.is/forums/f219/another-is300tt-way-lives-436205/ Everything looks great. and Im sure itll run the same. Best of luck. see you in sept., and again in the fall when you get your longish break. ill be in touch |

I know you like your things mostly oemish but if you wanna significantly cool the air intake temp putting it ontop of the main source of heat isnt the most efficient way. And I know how bad you want that water to air cooler but a bigger better placed front mount will achieve better AIT's if your after more power. And you can do decent sized fmic stealthy. Just look at mine.
And you can put these in to further chill the air. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_inf...304b1c675b8c107 Plus they just look cooler. Lol not to mention you know some water/meth will eventually find its way into the washer fluid tank. But def turn that turbo down and go straight to stage 3210. You should be around 8730whp then. Lolololol ![]() ![]() ![]() Is your intercooler inlets/outlets 2.5" or 3" cuz if it's 3 you should totally just do the top mount and send me your front mount. Lol. Oh which reminds me. I have a Jdm 5angle mirror that Ill give you if you want it. It's more than likely to ricey for you. I got it for free and won't put it on my car. Lol. It's in. Now hit the power igor and let's bring the monster to life!! Ok now I'm off to continue trying to platinum gran turismo 5. Lol. I need a life |

Andrew, I've never seen those finned IC pipes, I wonder how much they actually do, its really not that much surface area added to dissipate the heat. I'd be interested to see one of those installed on someone who has two temp sensors, one pre IC and one after. I'd clock the turbo, but I need this car together by monday lol. That'll be a project for another weekend. Besides I want to change my IC since I can't get the stock fogs in there with this IC.. for now at least.
progress.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Car is running great, I absolutely love the Stage 5 clutchmasters clutch I put in here. Its not as aggressive as you might think.. It's easy to shift and I have been able to hold myself on a hill without problems.. Just need a little more finesse since the friction zone is smaller. I have a lightweight flywheel with it and I get no cluctch chatter, really an awesome set-up!
For anyone interested in the specs Clutchmasters Stage 5 Unsprung Disc Cost = $375 linked with a.. Fidanza Aluminum Lightweight Flywheel |
