So i was cruisin home one night doin about 85 and hit a deer... Looking to buy a new front clip cuz thats rly all thats messed up besides the windshield, hood, coolant lines, radiator, fans, right headlights. Once i got under the hood, I noticed that the front support bar was bent inward about 8 inches, so I just wanna replace the front end.
Does anyone know how much it would run me to get the front clip, windshield and hood?

^ This.
Seems like a lot of money and work to put into a relatively stock (assumption) Celica.

I'd be pretty worried about frame damage. Maybe you could find a nice shell and combine the two cars.

Damn! Looks like a lot of damage. But hey, the important thing is that you're all right. Since that's a GT, let me know if you're going to part it. I'd be interested in buying your brakes.

Is the deer ok? laugh.gif

No but seriously, part it out (whatever you can get for everything) and get a new one. You could probably easily get a new Celi.

I'd buy the head light seals(w/ clips) and that rubber piece that bolts onto the fender to support the hood when closed. wink.gif

Check the front motor mount and make sure the bracket isn't broken.

I'd hang onto that Californian judgement... in Michigan, the legal speed limit is 75 and 85 isn't out of the real of normal driving.

Lol who would want to go 85 in a manual celica. 4000 rpms kinda piss me off. We have 75mph speed limit east of Dallas but I usually go 65 for fuel economy.

I can imagine the frame is bent from hitting a deer. Thats a pretty soft target

I'm usually right around 80/82 mph on the NYS Thruway. It's kinda the norm.

Sorry about your ride bro ... I hit a deer in 2008 with my bike at around midnight probably going around 60/65 mph ... be thankful your alright. I was out of commission for about 4 months and found out my boss replaced me when I got back to work.

Deers aren't soft targets... I remember we had a Deer God (Deer Gore) thread on another forum I often and someone posted a picture of a deer that hit an suv in the center of the front rolled up the hood went thru the windshield (splattering blood and such everywhere) and ended up with most in the back and some going out the rear windshield. Guy was doing 75. Completely warped the frame. Lol. Also where I live 75 is posted speed (so 80-85 is the speed most people go) on most interstates because of the lack of people. Most windy back roads are 55. You just need a good set of lights, knowledge of where the deer like to come out, and a whole lotta luck.

So back on topic- I'd just part it out man, get what you can outta it and buy a new one. Don't even worry about trying to fix it, I really don't think it'd be worth it.

If the frame is damaged, it's not worth it. If it isn't, ST205 front end? tongue.gif
