Hoppin to see more than the usual gt4 front conversion and SSIII conversion, its getting a lil boring to see in my opion cuz everyone is doing it. C'mon stand out above the crowd folks. Its not hard, lol

WHHHAAATTT, c'mon TRD u gotta have a lil open mindedness bro, lol i know i know...i guess i am just biased to only legit Japan branded wheels. in fact, i am eyeing and searching for my next replacements, some wider wheels and something new from the Gramlights area, just waiting on a good set or deal. Of course, ive seen other styles pulled off well outside my normal "whatever JDM" mentality". I think at the end of the day, its really what you think looks great, or if you already have a vision for what you want for your car. My only thought on those rims is simply to read as many reviews, thoughts, etc as possible. They might be $100 apiece now but later you have to shell out another $100 when one gets bent, then another $100, then another $100. Odds are of you drive carefully you'll never have to worry about a bent or cracked wheel but one of those might be more prone to it than the others. After that, it's your car and your money, and you can make your car look however you'd like it to.
I'm not sure if they carry those exact wheels but tirerack.com and discounttire.com both have simulators that show you how your car will look with each wheel. Or you can go to the Photoshop Request thread in the Multimedia section and someone can probably Photoshop each wheel on your car for you. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. hey i don't have any money either.
but i got my 7th gen gts rims for $150 for all 4 with tires. if you look around long enough you'll find good deals. still, like richee said, read up on them. make sure they aren't crap and yes, it's your car, do it the way you like it. we're all just telling u our opinions after all u did ask. Yes, it is your car and you should have the courage to mod it do things how you like. Out of the 3 sets of rims you posted I like the first rim the best.
When I first started modding my car I was always trying to keep to my own thing stand out from the crowd. Now, I have done what everyone has done the st205 front and st205 swap. Yes, everyone does it but its because its nice and it works and although on this forum many of our cars will look the same but when you drive around by you locally I doubt you would see a car similar looking to yours. I don't know my point but just do what you like and if its too different or too similar to something well who cares you are the one driving it everyday. -------------------- |

Thanks everyone i asked for opinions and thats what i got. wasn't trying to harsh on TRD or anyone else who mods car. ( sorry to anyone who got that impression) ..i am trying to go my own way in modding. decided against body kit or splitters and keeping the original body but going to get the rust out as best me and my dad can. ...then might paint it and add some other stuff not sure yet. I love all your guys's cars on here they look great! just not looking to spend a lot on this car since im looking at getting a jeep to mud in after or during college. & keep this as my dd.
btw .. Lil Joe I'll post pix of the build for sure! im glad you are interested in what im doing. This post has been edited by HerCelica95: Jul 23, 2012 - 3:58 PM -------------------- Only Drive As Fast As Your Angel Can Fly
