Since I am browsing over here more, I might as well share my car. I had it since '99 and its transformed quite a bit since I first got it.
Exterior • RC Gtfour hood and front bumper • Porsche GT Silver Metallic Paint • Sportmax 050 wheels: 17x9 38et wrapped in 255/40/17 tires • Custom front lip Interior • Momo Steering Wheel • AE92 Short Shifter • Momo Shiftknob • Autometer Boost Gauge • Autometer Water Temp Suspension • Tein HA Coilovers and Pillow Mounts • Cusco Underbrace • Super Pro Bushings • Whiteline Strut bars • Whiteline Rear swaybar • Solid Rear lsd mount • 25mm rear spacer • Torsen rear lsd Engine/ Transmission • Rev3 3sgte and water to air intercooler • Ford Racing Intercooler Pump • Uprated Mustang Cobra Heat Echanger • greddy profec b spec 2 (15psi) • ASI racing radiator • Custom intake + K&N filter • 3" Turbo back exhaust to 2.5" Sard Mig exhaust • RC gearbox In progress • 5x114 conversion • Rear 205 brakes • Front wilwood superlight setup • tie rod flip kit • front lip When its not cloudy out, the paint is quite shiny. With another local gtfour. The interior is in good shape, it just needs to be cleaned well. I need to clean the engine bay some as it still has a bit of dust in it. I may make a panel for the air filter as well. The contraption on the top is the water to air intercooler. A shirt I am making inspired by the car. With a local 6th gen. At the years first autox. Winter wheels (I need to fixed a curbed one and paint them all one color) http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/8426/photo19fk.jpg And the front lip I just finished working on today. After it has some time to cure I will mount it. |

I haven't checked your thread on the Z forums lately. It's coming together perfectly! I love my new Z and all but Celicas are my first love. I can't wait to see what's in store for your 185 after you sell the Z.

Thanks guys. I love the Z, but we have a kid on the way so no more 2 seaters for me. Once I finish the brakes, and AC I will make a push to get the Z sold. The things I am working on will likely wrap up what I do for the year.
For the distant future, I am planning a front LSD. That is if quaife comes through on our group buy. Then likely more weight reduction. Maybe a painted CF hood and roof plug. Maybe some lighter racing seats. Then of course the next major purchase will be some nice light wheels. My 17x9 fall in the 19-20lb range right now. I want to get something in the same size but closer to 16lbs. So if they are still made, I might get some advans but I am leaning towards rpf1s just cause they are cheaper to replace and going to be made a while. On top of that, I plan on maybe a GPS speedo, 205 transmission or lower final drive. Running rc fd + 2" taller tires takes away some of my acceleration fun. |

remove the sunroof. but yea great looking car. 255 size tires are absolutely huge which does compensate for the 9 inch wide rims.
yea the 17 x 8 rpf1 will be good since they come with a +35 offset. -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

If I get the any new wheels they will be at least 17x8.5. If I get the rpf1 I will get 17x9.

I've never found myself particularly attracted to any 5th gen, but that is beautiful. Must be the silver that does it...
