I didn't know I had a Celica until I read this. But this confirms my ownership.

you know you own a celica when you park at wal-mart you park in the very back and in two spaces, cause no matter how ****ty or car it, it still looks the best in the parking lot...

you know you own a celica, when you see one drive down the street, and you point it out to your girl friend and point all the mods it has!

You know you own a Celica when you're afraid to do the projector cutoff mod, and not because of the actual work involved but because of the cost of making a mistake.

Also, when no other car feels proper anymore. Sit in a Camry and think "Oh, this is much too big. It doesn't wrap around me like the Celica does. It drives so.... weird. What sort or ridiculously tiny rear window is this? I shouldn't have to climb UP into a car...." etc.

This last one is how I feel when I drive ANYTHING - it's crazy how pervasive the Celica's character is when it comes to influencing my comfort driving something else.

i felt that way too, i drove a 98 prelude, a 05 civic and i just didnt like it, but the only other car i do like driving is my 04 corolla and my 07 corolla other than that i love my celica

you know you own a celica, when, you sold your old one, buy another one and the first thing you notice is the SMELL of the interior , aka leather smells. ( i noticed that the other day smelt like my old 97 st and i loved it)

GTS! Of course from looking at pics they're impossible to work on, so that's a turn off. Then again what newer car isn't impossible to work on...

well that is exactly why i prefer toyotas. there is so much room under the hood, when i look at the 7afe and then my 1zz you think that 7afe has a lot of room wait till you get a 1zz theres even MORE room to work on it. and then when i had that 98 prelude, i was like why the hell would i want a honda when you couldnt even see the ground when looking above the engine. Toyotas are soo room spacious

When I think spacious under the hood, I think 60's and earlier cars. 455 big block under the hood, and room for you beside it. tongue.gif So far I've been fairly pleased with the Celica as far as ease to work on goes.

Doesn't look very spacious. redface.gif

That's a GTS, GT is the same way. I had been thinking about possibly getting a GTS, move up to a somewhat newer car. Just not sure though.
