im an ase certified mechanic. and i work at Burien Japanese auto service. i repair and drive both japanese and domestic cars for a living. but you know what your probably right i don't know anything and i should throw my self away... (ummm ok?) oh your right next time i do something to MY car ill make sure and run it through you first and make sure you like it. oh and where do i find "real parts" cause i can only find fake ones i get at work through worldpac. where can i find someone who doesn't know how to adjust coilovers, like your self, to set up my suspension? get back to me as soon as you can! thanks again Mr.proven.

its not even about that man, i'm speaking from experience myself, you dont have to be an ASE certified mechanic to know how to work on cars. In fact, i know more mechanics that are better than ASE mechanics. But what Im saying is that there is more better stuff than Tein really. I'm not mad at all, thats just good forum talk. you should know all people who work on cars will always have debates and have different ideas and approaches. Just like engineers, IT people, doctors, they won't agree at all at times. I mean i work on cars every day, and I learn everyday, I try to contribute as much as I can as everyone else is. But imagine, i bought my set of tools, and just learned it all from internet. I'm not the best and dont want to be, nor think i can troubleshoot everyones problems online cus after all, you can only give people ideas on what to check you cant remotely troubleshoot every problem online. Its just one of my many hobbies im into and there is a ridiculous amount of hobbies Im into. I make over 100k annually in just one of my jobs and I was making that in my mid-20s. I do IT engineering and project management, Construction Management, Real Estate, Guitar Tutoring, Free Car Repairs, Free Computer Repairs, IT Consultations, Procurement services for Businesses, Vacation Touring, and I'm an IT instructor. I'm a very busy guy but i always stop by this forum compared to all my other 10 forums. I sleep only 4 hrs a day. But it's all good, we can go at it this forever, but for what? its all in good fun of car talk.

I think I just hate Tein that much that I'm willing to battle anyone that thinks they're good. but again its your car, and you could do whatever you want, at the end, its just my opinion yea? you know that....

yea, that was just my BS talk, i do it all the time to anyone and my friends, but they understand that at the end of the day, I will never leave them hanging, and I'm always willing to help no matter what. Since I am the most successful out of my friends they look to me for guidance in almost any category, relationships, real estate, house construction, cars, careers, you name it. No matter what I never take anything personal, it just seems that way. Hell, I even help the people my friends think are my enemies cus to me, i think everyone needs help whether they are rich or poor, smart or dumb. I can say I enjoy the ride of the Eibach Sportline, never harsh, and I never feel any excessively abrasive forces inside the car. The nice thing about these is that they're progressively sprung, but have little roll to begin with. This is a very confidence-inducing trait, because in a fast corner, the car seems to tuck down while increasing speed in a like radius.

But eibachs are great, they make the TRDs anyway and those were great springs too.

naw man its a picture taken from that old revspeed mag (or whatever its called) its an actual picture of a page from a jdm only magazine it has the trd, c-one tanabe, jspeed superstrut coilovers etc...

its laid out in 5 pic x 5 pics format and someone uploaded it as a picture onto one of the threads. It comes from a japanese magazine, that is now discontinued the HYPER REV MAGAZINE!! aaah anybody even have the slightest clue of what I'm talking about.

I need about 1.8inch drop on my car. So what springs will be perfect for that?

I think Intrax doesn't have springs for st205 or I can't find them.
You don't like the Tein coilovers,but what do you think about these springs?

Approximate lowering - 37mm - is it true? and how will this affect on a high speed?

Red123, that is a very low spring rate - with the ST205 being heavy I would not run those.
