Hi All,
I've been trawling through the Intaweb again and came across a Supercharger for the Celica (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Celica-GT-Ogura-Super-Charger-Model-TX12-/261091909669?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cca4a6025#ht_500wt_1288) but I'm not sure if this is doable on the 7AFE lump. Does anyone know if it is compatible or if it fits? Has anyone supercharged before? Is it easy to install and set up? What can I expect to get out of my Celi if I supercharge it? Many thanks Rob |

i cant see the ebay link but im going to guess its for the 7th gen GT with a 1ZZ engine. this will NOT work on a 7A-FE. the two engines are nothing alike.

my 7a is supercharged. Read aj's forum in the forced induction section. Vortec f series pro charger, 2 bar map sensor, ebay bov, $20 catch can, 7mgte 315cc injectors, i didnt see the need for the 255 pump considering it was riching out to 10:1 at full boost. Anyways, 40hp increase. No tune. Car runs great. Still gets 30mpg. Only problem is no a/c, and the mount is has to be custom made which aj did a hell of a good job on.
