I've checked the sticky for this topic, but I don't think I can find my answer.

Problem: The wires of the harness are not the same as any of the write-ups. My harness has almost two of the same color with silver dashes on the wires. It is only one clip harness that has number 1-15 on them. There are no others, although the CD player itself has another harness port on it, it is not hooked up..dunno what thats for anyway.

Anyone have a link to guide me on the wiring?

Also, last night when I was just testing the power on my new one through the old harness wiring, I think I burnt something...I checked my fuses but nothings. Do you think it's the amp that's right below it? Is there a fuse in that amp as well? The reason I ask is because now my radio (the oem one) went from ON to faded out--doesn't work anymore; no power to the radio....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Added Info:

It's a Fujitsu Ten 121000-96400101
Toyota Part Number 86120-08040

It's just an OEM CD player...I bought this car used from the 1st owner, but I figured this car came with this (I've read that the player comes in other cars Camry, Avalon, etc...but it's in my Celica)

I believe there is a power amp that it's plugged into...which probably fried...

Anyway, I hope this added info helps to help me.

Again, I have checked the Stickies for this...it's just that it's a 15pin, and #10 pin is not used...

I thought it was a CE 3371, but on the pic, the #13 pin is blank..so is #2, #5, and #9 pin blank...

Here is my actual harness.

Here is my actual CD Player/Radio.

Thanks!

btw, yes, it should be a factory amp as no one touched this area of the car (even the 1st owner)

can you get a pic of the plug like this..

i want to see the pattern.

the 15 pin plug is for the amplified system. its just like the blue plug in the pic. thats for the older radios, the other (white) is for the newer radios. (this was a plug i made hybryd.)

did you buy the car from a member

ok so you have an premium system.

which means you can only use a stereo that uses amplified system.

which means you have to have same pattern plug as the P500

this drawing gives you the wire codes by pin out

do you want to install aftermarket stereo?

Yea, I'm trying to swap the stock for a BOSS 8975B in-dash DVD.

Here's the pic.
http://external.ak.fbcdn.net/safe_image.ph...GsL._SL500_.jpg

I bought it off a guy for $50 as he was too lazy to return it to Amazon.
Never been used and was purchased in 12/2011....

It didn't say any compatability with Celica or any Toyotas, but that is because it won't fit in the panel--I will have to cut the opening so it will fit.
The wiring shouldn't be a problem, but I have to check whether it needs an amp to power it. I think I already fried my amp b/c it smelled burnt after I did something, which then caused the OEM (when pluggin back in) to gradually lose power and then not turn on anymore..haha.

This picture really helps to see what is what on my cables!

then bypass the amp harness. there is a second harness that conects to the car harness, that you can use as pitail just like i did here..

these are the wires you need to locate.
