That wooden steering wheel and plastic shifter really got nothing to do inside a Celica... but that's just my opinion

Meh, wood belongs in old cars too. As far as the shifter goes, if I wanted a shifter that tall I'd drive a truck. tongue.gif But to each their own, I'm an old man with traditional views when it comes to cars. tongue.gif

Yup, if it's a 240z then it's between 1970 and 1975 I believe and 260z is 1974-76 or thereabouts. I think wooden steering wheels are a little odd on 80s and 90s cars, but I looove chrome. I'd chrome my body if I could. Watch me gleam as I walk!

Some cars past 1970 it's ok. Like if the rims on that Datsun were smaller, I'd be ok with it. I just don't like big shiny wheels, yes I'm talking to you specifically "donk" owners. laugh.gif

Here's one I polished earlier this year. Its not chrome, but its pretty shiney.

I don't like big wheels on classics either.

YEah, first i plasti dipped, then i sprayed them white, had to use alot of painters tape,

Heres how it lookes currently, havent really done much to it yet, saving for a new fender and some spacers,

Also got a new shift knob.

Dude, keep updating this thread. Forget about what anyone said. I for one , like the exterior mods. Interior wise, I like the wheel, everything else, your car, your mods. You like it, and thats what counts. Keep the pics coming.

Funny how members on here support those with bodykits and get butthurt when someone mentions how ugly or past their time those bumpers are, but yet make fun of a guy who's trying to make his car enjoyable to himself. If you don't like it, cool. But don't insult the guy.

I think Edser was trying to suggest some lovely interior touches, and I for one shall not stop him in his endeavor. In fact:

Per the car, I like the wheel color. Something different.

The exterior does look great! There no denying that. Those wheels are sweet. thumbsup.gif
