I was wondering what type of clutch/flywheel options everyone has on their celica and what their opinions are.

I'm in the market looking for a new clutch since mine is slipping right now and needs new replacement.
I'm thinking about getting a Clutchmaster's Stage 1 with a Fidanza flywheel combo after reading some reviews but wanted to hear more feedback from the 6gc community, thanks.

I personally like the stock clutch and flywheel, though I wouldn't mind getting a lightweight flywheel

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you loose torque but gain HP with a lightened flywheel.

I have a Spec Stage 2 Clutch with a resurfaced Stock flywheel

I've had my celica for 3 years and never had to change the clutch until now. I'm not sure when the previous owner did it or not.
I was looking for something a little different in terms of aftermarket since I've been reading the clutch life lasts longer than the OEM clutch/flywheel.

The stock clutch is almost the same price as an aftermarket clutch as well as the flywheel. I'm thinking about going aftermarket now.

I have researched and found reviews stating there is a gain for improved torque and hp for a lightened flywheel.
How do you like your Spec Stage 2 Clutch? How long have you had it for and have you had any issues yet?

ACT set up is good
Exedy Set up
SPEC is ok too
Comp Clutch Stage 1 - Puck n Sprung < This is what I have, on an S54 tranny, ST185 3sgte Lightened flywheel, ARP bolts, and ST205 Clutch Disc/Pressure Plate for S54 spline. < Hybrid, bigger diameter setup. Good if you want more oomphhhh, but a stock setup is nice too. I actually want it now.

neither of these is true. you gain acceleration from the loss of inertial weight. so it feels like you gain power.

I highly suggest a Southbend Clutch TZ and fidanza flywheel.

I've been doing research to add to my projects list, are there any other alternatives to a fidanza fly-wheel? Also how light is too light for a similar stock GT?
