That's right, real men stop their cars with sheer willpower.

Today I go to the hardware store in attempts to find bolts to replace the screws for the IACV. Brass screws, what were they thinking.

laugh.gif Again, you guys are awesome. I have three different large coffee cans full of bolts at my dad's house. I just need to go pick up a 14 mm tap this morning then gently limp the car out there, being extra gentle to avoid any bumps or potholes as well as resisting the urge to use any power whatsoever, then I can get it fixed pretty quickly. Then I have to get to work since I had to call in and get the morning off for repairs.

Box- I hate those screws! I had to use an impact screwdriver to get mine out.

Take the bolt out of a non essential component, like the brakes or steering, and use it. Brakes are for pansies anyways.

Something eerily similar was done to my daughter's car. When we first brought it home, I noticed someone had taken the bolt holding the power steering reservoir, and used it to hold one of the mud flaps on. biggrin.gif

I got all of them out, one was kinda stripped out though. So just replace with bolts and never have to worry about it..

Today I fixed the motor mount. Wasn't held up by anything at all. Nice. Then I put 10 mm spacers in the rear, still have to do the fronts.

Put on JDM raiser blocks
Then I went to spider77's and helped him get his Celica running again.

Glad you liked it. smile.gif You've seen the Celica scene here now, so it's nice when someone takes notice of the car. laugh.gif

^ I call bullchips on it pulling hard with a whale penis inside.

On a definitely serious note, here's a friendly PSA to avoid drinking and driving (not to mention, there was recently a thread on this site about a member busted for DUI). My brother made the decision to drive home from the bar last friday night, then proceeded to stuff his car. I headed over and drove him around for the day to help him out (see, it's Celica related). He is okay, and did not injure anyone else, just bashed his head on the windshield as a result of a utility pole providing very abrupt stopping force. Also, goodbye nice B7.

^^^ Theres so many things that come to mind to say about that audi, but really I think its a perfect reason for your brother to only make this mistake once in his life.
