Royal Purple 10w30 on my 6gc

10w-40 just switched from synthetic to motor oil and it seems to be lasting longer. synthetic just past my rings way to much... d=-(

Formula Shell or Havoline 5w30 with an OE Toyota filter. I was impressed with the packaging of the filter with the shrink wrap and lubed gasket.

Castrol Syntec 10w-40 in the summer and Syntec 10w-30 in the winter with 168k miles.
For filters, I use Purolator Pure One or Bosch Distance Plus filters. In the winter, I've been known to use K&N oil filters simply because they flow better... but the filtration isn't nearly as good as the Pure One or the Bosch Distance Plus. Previous owner obviously didn't know **** about oil because I was cleaning sludge out for ages. Finally have it to a clean state after 7 oil changes. Syntec is the only oil I've noticed doesn't lose it's viscosity after 3000 miles. I beat on my car quite a bit, do burnouts once in a while, and my work is only 4 miles away, so the car barely has time to warm up before I'm at work. This oil takes abuse and keeps protecting. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles.
