Let me give this a shot!
You know you own a Celica when.... - you skip work just to drive it... - you want to put up a cot just to see it when you wake up... - your willing to drive through a blizzard JUST to drive it... - you have withdrawals when you can't work on it or drive it... - you max out a credit card to fix it rather than buying a new car... - you spend countless hours on eBay and 6gc looking for parts... - your willing to give up your soul to keep it rather than sell it... When having a drink in the cup holder keeps you from being able to shift.

Master crane style, you will.
It's actually really cool when you get good at it. I'm just as fast now because of how often I frequent Taco Bell. My passengers are like "dafuq wad that?!" -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. -When you look back at your celi every time you park anywhere and keep looking at it until you can't see it anymore You know you own a celica when U want to rap ur car up in the parking lot and realize that could cause more attention to your car and you worry that it would get ****ed w. but when u leave her, you hope for the best. You get back to your car, and get a warm fuzzy feeling reassuring yourself she wasn't touched. Than open your door , as you sit down and sink low to the ground and think, damn I love this seat . |

lol "the crane shifting technique". My technique is rough on me because I'm a fan of d&d large ice coffees. Try shifting with one of those things! anyway, you know you have a celi when your bank account is always empty when you spend hours looking for rebuild parts Yea yea true !!! |

You armericans must have got a raw deal with your celics i agree with
Looking through forums and ebay for rare jdm parts Having to go throught the passenger side because the drivers door is frozen shut. Having to bang the door cars to free up the window for it to go down when frozen. Having weird angles to change gear with a big drink in the holder. Having people ask you about your supra. Having the doors close on you when trying to step out of the car. Also when people parking very close to you flicking on the ignition to put down the window to climb in. Having to take off the front bumper to change headlights Having the motor ariel sticking up. Calipers seizing on the car. Knowing a celica by its front bumper and rear lights. The only thing iv had to do on my celica in the last 3 years is. Fix the drivers cailiper when seized The handbreak cables The drivers side headlight when a stone smashed it Servicing , pads , cv joints , drop links and tyres. I dont get where ya have to lift the bonnet every week or that its slow mine is fast enough to pass out civics and over take without waiting and i have the ss11 2.0 litre 180 bhp 1994 jap celica This post has been edited by Taz: Jan 14, 2013 - 2:13 PM -------------------- Toyota Racing Development
