Is there a good guide or picture that shows how those darn rubber rings go on the lights and what clips hold them?

I believe a see a right and left side so I think I have the right ring on each headlight, but the don't line up with the all the clips.

I read on here a while back that rubber cement works wonders if you don't mind a permanent installation.

fyi, only one clip (located at the top center of the headlamp) hooks the rubber surround to the headlamp. the rest of the clips simply hook the glass to the housing (even though it doesn't need it). the rubber surround is glued on the glass by the factory.

they only fit on one way too. so maybe u just gotta rotate them around until they sit nicely.

I suppose I will give it a try this weekend.......they sure like to slip off regardless of what position they are in. lol biggrin.gif Do you think if I buy new ones they will fit looser (the older rubber shrank or became less flexible??)
