(new years eve) Lost almost all the lettering and numbers in my rear tyres sidewalls. 4 people and 2 eskies sat a bit lower than anticipated. Now I squeak instead of rub! Haha

Lol yeah I figure the celica is kind of like a motorcycle, it can carry a passenger but the suspension really isnt intended for 2+

Haha yep, and seeing as you can't get a finger between my tyres and guards, I learnt the hard way with the tyres burning the whole way, and even burning my paint kindasad.gif got a little hot haha. Stupid offset.

Went out to warm up my car today before going to visit the girlyfriend. Got in push in on the clutch and turn the key but no joy. Dead battery? No way, that battery has been amazing for the ~4years I had it and it hasn't shown any signs of giving up. I pop open the hood and the positive terminal was covered in corrosion. Scrubbed the post and connector for a while with some baking soda and vinegar and she was good to go.

Well 15 days after the accident, my broken arm is free of all wrapping, bandaging, etc. and although the doctor didn't specify, I'm cleared to drive the Celica again.

Today, I am preparing to install this:
I had the ribs lines shaved off to make it more flat - hated those lines. I'm going to put a nice fitting badge in the indentation. ENJOY.

I'm far from healed up, but it's good enough to hold the steering wheel. Turning, on the other hand... That's still up to my right hand.

Glad to hear you're better.

The other day my local exhaust shop disappointed me. The guy insisted that this http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...in&id=10885 was a resonator... >.> Old people, I swear. Just because it's a canister doesn't mean it's a resonator. Long story short my brother went to have it installed on his car, told him it was a resonator so they just installed straight pipe from the cat back. He got back, told me what happened. I flipped my ****, got a hold of the shop owner and had them install the muffler. They did it for free, guess the owner got onto them. Had it not sounded like raspy ****, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Important thing is that it's all good now. tongue.gif

went for rego and wof at vtnz, found out I have a split outer cv boot kindasad.gif no other issues still passed the wof as usual biggrin.gif. Going to take it to toyota in the day or so. So they replace that and install the tom's SS lines, saves me the worry about rounding a nut on the hard lines.

Memphis Audio, nice. How do you like it? I've got some Memphis coaxials in my car and I hate them, but they were dirt cheap. I've heard some higher end Memphis that sounded great.

I like them quite a bit. I was skeptical of replacing my old JBLs, but they were exactly that. OOOOLD JBLs.

I scooped this set up for 300 bucks. Came with the 2 12s, box and Memphis 16-MCA150 amp. All wired in bridge mode, just had to plug in power, ground & remote.

I believe I got a good deal, I priced them out around 600 for the whole set. They were only used for about 2 months before the owner skipped town =P

Reminds me, still need to make a box and find an amp for that Rockford I have lying around.

Supra, SC300, 300ZX, or 240SX. Only reason behind the 240SX is still decent mpg and you can work on it easily enough. Or maybe a Mustang or Camaro/Firebird. Leaning towards the first three though.

Learned I should go buy a pack of glass wipes. Even after driving to the store and back all the glass was still iced over. >.>
