Any celica/mr2/camry forum has talk about the 5sgte. Information is out there. A motor like this can't come in "kit form". This is a flat out motor build and requires more than just buying from a "parts list". This is what makes this more exciting to do for our celicas. Since there is no kit for a fte or gte head swap you get to be more indepth and intimate with your motor.

Anyways, it's better to build a motor with parts of your choice, not a clone of someone elses. Build it to fit your needs.

Nice. Not as loud as I thought it would be. From the sound it looks like you stop at 4k rpm or something even tho you go up to 6.5k. But I know in real life it would sound like a beast thumbsup.gif

awesome car there mate. i was going to do a 2.2 conversion on my st185 3s-gte that was in my st162 4th gen celica.

i now have a yellow 204 and that $8000-$10000 3s-gte is going in there next year i hope love seeing more and more 6th gen turbo FWD.

also **** that guy on ignition sounds like a tosser i hate him...lol and they always get something wrong...st215...ahhh thats a JDM caldina.

anyways mate tops work!

No its not 'twuble' but i know the car your on about. As far as i know it got writen off. Has'nt been around for quite some time. 'Twuble' was a lighter shade of blue.

yeah i wasn't sure cause he said i was gonna do the conversion cause it was just a ricer but to come to memory he was closer to qld but still in nsw....yes very close colours but it is a nice colour.
