It's very hard to build a 200whp n/a toyota engine. Even modded Beams 3SGE's only make around 180whp without some aftermarket cams... Cams can hurt streetability. 2ZZGE's have reached 200whp... but it's not practical power cause the engine is small and usually located above 8000 rpms. A 20V will have a hard time seeing 200whp without being opened up for higher comp pistons and cams... not even mentioning the mandatory standalone ecu.


this is where i like honda motors in N/A apps. like k series motor




"Not looking for 200hp" Im honestly shooting more for like 150-160whp that should be a great improvement over the 115 Im running now(if I even have that with the horrible compression #s I have)

I agree hondas are the king of the N/A motor. They are so easy to extract power from, however I do not like alot of the other characteristics of the hondas I have driven. Hense why I sold my integra and came back with my second celica smile.gif

^agreed, im not looking for 200whp for my st either, just like 95st said, around 140whp-160whp is good enough for me on the streets for realiability and fun, anyone has any st around the 140-160whp range and can give us info on it? and no forced induction ones biggrin.gif
