what is a camber kit and what does it do?

cough cough search button... but this is an easy one so i'll go ahead and answer it since your a NB. a camber kit is used when the affects of lowering the car make the tire pitch inward making negative camber. i'm sure you've seen lil hondas rollin around thinking their all cool that they lowered their car but if you look at their tired their pointing inward. give em about 2 months and they won't have any tire left on the inside. sometimes a camber kit insn't needed becuase when you lower it if doesn't have any affect on the stock camber this is around 1 1/2" - 2" if you lower any lower than that you'll need a camber kit. their like 50 bucks. but for our celis we don't need em cuz we can't go lower than a honda. so to sum it all up celicas don't really need them but when you lower your car you should still get an alignment done to save your nice rubber.

no problem man just to let ya know this site is packed with info and if you can't find the info here which will be pretty hard cuz a lot has been talked about then you can seek help on here.
