Thats what I thought when I saw them, but with the energy suspension boxes behind it...........well you get the picture. Now I guess i have to get the inserts.............new mounts, hate to see em go to waste without something stuck in there. BTW, if you ever decide to get rid of your lower radiator support, let me know....I need one to fix the bent one I have....I'd rather not make custom mount brackets........i'd say good luck on your build, but i dont think you need it!

you plan on keeping the oem hood with that gt4 bumper??

looking at your steering wheel its a bit different than the 99 steering wheel. mine has dark black rubber grip at 9 and 3 oclock. why is that???

Yes most likely unless I can find a cheap hood locally. And that is because my wheel isn't out of a 99....

the other way you can have the 3 post steering wheel with black stitching is get the 3 post steering wheel from a 7th gen and just get the air bag from our years. thats how you can get that type of all black.

only the air bag is different but they mount the same.

Right? I loved the truck show, that felt like happening 3 times......---______---...Luckily we got there early and were surrounded by nice TCs, a FD, lexus', and that Aston so we didnt have to deal with any of them. However my shock sensor went off about 10 times.

I'll just leave these here wink.gif

Probably going to tint the rear white area on the tails sometime as well, I Photoshoped it and really like the way it looks lightly tinted.

Finally a good picture of the interior, stupid seats.

Not sure if I'm going to go all out one the engine bay, as she is on her last legs and the new heart will look Oh so much better wink.gif

Hoping a wash and buff with allow them to match a bit more.

The side markers are drying after being tinted and will go on tomorrow. Also I will most liklely be raising her an inch all around, a bit too low for my liking(and the rear rubbed as I parked on flat ground X.X)

Rubbing compound will blend it better. Not a huge fan of the eyelids on these cars. Maybe it's because of the direction of the slant. Looking good though! Spray can and duplicolor for the bumper?

Also, to get the emblem shadow off the back, use a quality clay bar and compound.

Yea I'm gonna live with it for a few weeks until I have time to sand and buff it out to just make 100% sure its cured(even though it probably already is). It looks like it matches perfectly from 20 feet back...and it looks close everywhere.... It is actually single stage 3L2 provided by a local shop for $15 a can..

And don't worry Alex, once the 5s dies she will get a little somethin somethin wink.gif
