I contacted a guy who machines these battery boxes and has an eBay store. He said he can design something up for us (free of charge) or we can send him a design and they can produce them. This is the one they make for the Supra
user posted imageuser posted image
info:
All of the pieces of this tray have been CNC machined out of1/2" and 3/8" thick 6061 T6 aircraft quality billet aluminum. All of the mounting hardware and the hardware to bolt this box together, are included, and are stainless steel. The top and the bottom are both recessed to hold the battery better, and each side has two 1/4" bolts on the top and on the bottom to make sure the battery stays were you put it. This battery box has a brushed finish. As you can see the top has a cool supra design, and the bottom has the WCM logo of Wieland Custom Machine.

The Supra one is priced at $125 and he said he would take 12% off for an order of 10. We might be able to talk him down a bit more.

If anyone wants to come up with a design, please post it here!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

i agree, 125 is steep for a battery box, but im sure we could get it down

woops 12% off is 110. aint that bad considering the amount of machining involved

The way I see it is that I either spend the money and get something I really like or settle for something that's a bit cheaper and then end up getting sick of it. Not to mention, this looks like it's quality product.

I think it looks really good, and would be the perfect addition for anyone with a really clean engine bay, or something nice to show off like a swap. Unfortunately I have neither. frown.gif

im in for sure. how about just the celica dragon and to the left of it, celica in the celica font(the one on our emblems...)? i like the cursive writing but i think it'll look funny as a battery cover.

o sh!t, i hadnt noticed it said for optima batteries. i guess im out.

i dont have an optima either at the moment, but you can always buy one later. this box on the other hand might be a one time deal, so jump on smile.gif.
