so far no problem same as FRP. We do use a lot of flexi resin on the surface so in future if it does get battered with stone chips, you can always have it poished down and re coated by any good workshop.
Like any kit it will get stone chips so w've done what we can and invested in resin which isnt brittle.

the carbon kit, is it pure carbon, or does it have fibreglass in it?

100% Pire biggrin.gif
Fibreglass is only ever used in larger parts like doors, hoods and boot lids so that it holds it shape better and cheaper to make the other side in FG as it's not seen. When it comes to kits which are pretty flat single moulded parts, we just use a thin mesh film for transferring the carbon onto the vacume mould.

just found the wrappers for the odds n ends i needed for the diffuser.
and also a note for the st204s
the diffuser when installed does sit flush against your rear tow hooks making in nearly impossible to use them without damaging the diffuser.
i am currently trying to find a way to extend both without looking rediculous

for the nylon spacers the long ones size is
1/2 x .257 x 1
smaller nylon spacer
5/8 x 1/4 x 3x8
hex capped screw with the thread just on the end. used to connect to the bumper
M6-1.00 x 65

let me get back to you on the mounts on the rear subframe

Just curious, Are these going to be produced and available for a while? Or is it just something you are doing for now, and when you run out of parts that will be the end of it?

we're always making them. Carbon takes a bit more time than FRP. We take extra care and attension as it canonly be made perfect each and every time as you can't afford any mistakes.
You'll never see a bullble or frey in the weave nor will you ever see floppy carbon fibre or bendy surfaces which is very noticable in sun light.
Our carbon are made to serve motorsport purpose and is to last. Not just a wrap for show.

I know in another post you said these come "gel coated, prepped, and sprayed gloss black". Would I still need to paint them if they were to go on a black car?
