thanks guys.
art, yea, thats exactly what i though when i saw it...lol

so this weekend, the project was painting the engine bay..
i just pulled a few things off the firewall, and cowl, taped off the fenders and windshield, and went to town, pretty much..lol
i didnt want it totally flat, or super shiney, so i went with a semi-gloss black.

i like the way it came out...much better than the super dirty looking white!!

there's this one person in uk where i got mine from, he (or she, i dunno) has them for cheap and already comes with the corner cut for the gt4 bumper, the person can paint it to match your car as well if needed.
otherwise you can get a set from doGGy or chrisc and just cut them yourself

since they are the real OEM extensions, not copies, i had to trim them to fit the GT-4 bumper myself.
if you can get a set of copies that are precut, that would definetly be the way to go. fiberglass is not as easy to cut and shape as the OEM material.
the turns are from Doggy.
close ups of those are on PG1

I have the real kit at home and wanted to know so I would not have to cut up the front. well guess I'll have to start trimming

Where'd you get the skirts and how much? Those are something I have been looking for depending on the price.

i was lucky enough to get a set of the real deal ones, from Doggy. he makes copies of them.
IIRC it was ~300$ for the pair.

brandon, fate,
thanks.

The new skirts and extensions definitely looks much smoother and better. On the rear extensions, did you remove that black plastic/rubber lining that is also screwed on the bottom of the bumper side? I am in the process of putting on my rear extensions too and debating whether I should remove it or not.

He did nothing to them. Then i first got the skirts - there was no chance to ship them from US to me, so i had no chance just to cut them in 2 half just to get them shipped to Lithuania from USA... So basicly i got the skirts in 4 parts. After i sold them to Manny (cuz i thought i will just keep the originals and replicate them (make a mold), but plans changed and i no longer will do the replicas...) i had to fix them, so i did... But the fix wasnt good enouth to witchstand another travel to US, so Manny got them in 4 parts too... so yea, basicly this is the story.

yea, you basicly have no choice but to take them off.

fate, like doggy said, i had to re-repair them when i got them from doggy, that section in the middle is where the repair is taking place, its still not 100% done, that was just a fitment check. wink.gif
thanks for the kind words, guys!
