What i did was buy long jumper cables something like 16 feet or 24 or something.. anywho i cut off both ends and ran the double wire through the car. its something like 4 gauge or 2 its pretty thick...
anywho now i have it grounded to the old grounds up front as well as in the trunk... overkill but worth it in my opinion. but if you ground it welll in the trunk you should be fine as long as the grounds up front arre secure |

QUOTE(Valo666 @ Jun 11, 2007 - 11:21 PM) hows the hood vent working man??...any issues with boost or heat now? actually she runs a LOT better, spacing the hood like that helped a ton, i haven't gone into safe mode since!! and fixing my vac lines at the drag strip helped, she feels smoother now. I think its because i had a closed valve off the fuel rail when it should have been an open vacuum |

quick update
im at my buddys on his lift working etc. so far i have the spearco mounted to the crashbar, ive welded the flange onto the ic pipes and ive routed the pipes, but i gotta extend a pipe about 4 inches which should be fun. (im fairly new to welding and just getting the hang of it) but i also finished tucking the relay box while the bumper was off and now that corner of the engine bay is completly clear except for my hidden filler neck for the washer fluid! pics soon! |
