update.. nothing on the engine, but some with the car..
i was pulling off the DCW triple pod to get the guages out and the adhesive was so strong (3m double sided body mold tape) and the car was so cold that it ripped the vynl right off of the dash... so i guess now im going to be either getting a new dash or molding the pods in and then having it upolstered of something.. suade is nice right? |

well i was home for about 12 hours... and did a little.. nothing productive, but needed to be done..
took the TSW's off so i can get to the suspension easier and i will most likely sell the TSW's since there is no point in them sitting around for 2 years. I also put her on blocks high enough that i can move around to work underneath etc. PICS: Immediate future plans... None.. i won't be back there until... august, when ill be home for 3 weeks. maybe some engine bay tucking/interior gutting during that time and of course fiddling with the 3s thats in my basement as well.. |

QUOTE PICS: i don't really think bricks were the best idea for holding the celi up. maye for the time being, but you should probably get some jack stands. i don't want to see the bricks break. it's a b**** to re-jack a car up when it's on the frame (trust me i've done it). -------------------- QUOTE Surprise buttsecks always works fine for me. 1994 Toyota Celica ST 1977 Harley Sportser XLH 1992 Ford F-350 (plow truck) |

This is my least favorite page of my progress thread. Mainly due to the depressing pictures of my car apart, gutted and rusting.. it can only get better

I see your point and appreciate the concern, but i trust my set-up for a short term deal. The battery is mounted in the truck connected to nothing, no need to take it out now... the brakes are going to rust either way, maybe i'll take the calipers off so they don't freeze, but i literally have no time at home. I won't waste the three weeks, but unfortunatly i don't think my pockets will be very deep to do much of anything.. This post has been edited by jcbass7: Mar 18, 2008 - 12:58 PM |

The car is so light with no engine and half an interior And to add to the depression some more.. my biggest rust spot (that i know of..) This post has been edited by jcbass7: Mar 18, 2008 - 1:09 PM |
