I'm looking for some suggestions as to what I can put in the pocket under my dvd player because I'm sick of just having a freaking pocket there. I've seen some people with emblems and a few people with guages. Any other ideas???

I took out the sterio and the pocket and put an lcd in there, but you could mold some guages in there I have seen that done.

This is something I did, but I still used my pocket. You could do the same thing without the pocket. -------------------- |

Well I already have a flip-out 7" screen DVD/ MP3 player, so I don't need an LCD (good idea though). What different types of guages are there? -------------------- "To be the man, you have to beat the man..."

You know, I thought about putting an equalizer down there. Where's the best place to find a decent looking one? Any car audio store? - Luís -------------------- "To be the man, you have to beat the man..."

Depends what you have.. for a turbo car, A/F ratio, boost, and temps are pretty important.
For an NA car, take your pick. If you've got a lot of electronics going on, a voltmeter and ammeter would be reasonable. The equalizer sounds pretty cool, do you happen to have a picture? Another idea, maybe... if it fits, I'm not familliar... put an led or two and a cap behind a window under the stereo. EQ would be a great addition to any car stereo... it will give it a nice well rounded sound that your cd player wont offer... id definately hit up the EQ idea. but thats just me.....
EQ's to look at: Audio Control Kicker Memphis i'd hit up the Audio Control ones definately... best out i personally think. -------------------- i want a stereo so loud, it blows womens clothes off.

I like the equalizer, thats a good idea, but I alwasy worried about a pop up screne because the heater is right there behind it, and the vents on the screen to keep it cool are behind it so I would worry that it woudl over heat.

Just "turn them off".. You don't have to use those heater ducts you know. I never use those in the middle anyway.. Only those for the front window and those on the sides, along with the floor ones when it's really cold and winter. -------------------- |
