or buy the dension ice link and mount. that way you can control volume and songs with your head unit, instead of fiddling with you ipod.

While I'm only using a tape adapter right now, I just lay mine down on the center console right on top of the ash tray cover. I have the rubber cover though, so it doesn't slide anywhere.

Wut you can do is run the wire thru the center console and remove the ashtray tray and drill a small hole in the walla of it so the wire could enter thru there and the ipod fits perfectly snuggled in the ashtray location (as long as the tray is out) and it looks flushed and nice )i did this)

I thought about that, but my ash tray is my coin holder!!

What I'm going to do when I get a new head unit is bring the wire forward through the little slot under the CD Player so I can just slide the iPod in there. Oh yeah, I'll have an iPod ready head unit too, so I won't need immediate access to the iPod itself.

yeah i've also removed my ashtray and packed up underneath. It is the perfect size for the ipod and being recessed into the console stops it from moving around. Really happy with it in that position.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Will my stock headunit (10640-34 Type 2) have RCA inputs? I would like to connect my ipod using a Nyko iPod stereo Link. As it's neat & simple, offers a better sound quality, and it's cheap.
