Hey guys,
I'm gonna build a cai soon. So where is the cheapest place to get the mandrel bent piping at?

JC whitney sells its for 24.99 and 6.99 shipping. So the total is ~32 dollars.. Not a pretty penny if you ask me.

So well, after an hour os shopping i found. summitracing, they charge 16.95 and shiping is 8.95. so the total is ~ 26. That is better, way better.. biggrin.gif

anyone have experience from them? And can anyone PLEASE!!!! help me find cheaper mandrel bent piping!!!!!

does it really matter super?

"These Summit exhaust tubing mandrel bends allow you to custom-design your exhaust to the shape and size you need. Available in both U-bend and J-bend styles in a variety of sizes, these aluminized steel bends are a key component of a system that is totally your own."

its seems to be the same material as the jc whitney pipe..

"16-gauge aluminized steel "

I'm using exhaust tubing for my intake from JCWhitney. The only difference between it and aluminum piping used on most intakes is that my piping is a bit heavier.

You can use plastic piping from lowes or home depo for intakes too. But you have to make sure your not too close to anything hot. Anyone who doubts this, it's what I have on my car. Lowes is the best place of intake systems.
