Are those switches bigger than those switch covers on the panel under the steering wheel? Im wondering if one would fit there.

X2^^^^

Ive always thought about that, it would be pretty sweet to put the switch there, but then what about the passenger one? It would be kinda odd to just have the passenger one all by itsself

There is a switch blank on either side of the steering wheel wink.gif

thank you sir.

will they fit in the blanks on either side of the wheel under the dash ?
yes and no

the will fit in the blank spot but the switches are deep, you would have to remove (or cut a some holes in) the brace behind the lower dash. If any of you have taken off the lower dash cover then you should know what piece I'm talking about.

for pics of the actual install, none really. I've taken seats apart before so I'm very familiar with them. It took me a few hours to do everything start to finish. FYI the 96+ seats are much easier to take apart than the 94-95 seats (I'm lucky to have 96 seats in my car wink.gif). I did the pass side first then the driver's. I put the relays and wiring under the armrest where the SRS ECU is and decided to put the heat pad wires from the relay out from under the armrest and down under the rails and gave enough slack to move the seats back and forth without problems. I'll take a few under seat pics tomorrow.

for the CC I used 3 LEDs in place of the stock bulbs.

and a few more pics of how the wires are ran and now blue LEDs in the switches

for driver's side (with the seat belt buckle pushed forward)

for pass side (with the seat belt buckle pushed forward)

the loom runs under the rails and to the plugs under the seats (this is the driver's side and the seat was slid all the way up when I took the pic)

and they're now blue

Nice work, as always. My leather seats are in need of a recover so I should do this while I'm in there.

Add my vote for a sticky.

Where'd you get all these parts? I found a site to get everything except for the panel itself.
