targa-
i dont know if anyone has done it, i think it'd look pretty cool but you just lose a ton of structual integrity if you cut up the roof like that, so i wouldnt advise trying so.

but yea they do look cool, i'll give you that lol

ive been thinkin about that idea too cuz my celi has a hudge aftermarket sunroof that doesnt work in it. It can be done with non targa cars. I actually help build the raceworld.ca targa top prelude. Lots of extra work went into it and it costs an arm and a leg. I think with the top, brackets, supports, gaskets, etc it cost just about $4500CND without paint.

I wouldn't do it without putting in a rollcage for structural strength

try a t shape. Like some muscle cars. that could still hold. the verts have been modified.. If you ever take the seats out, and the plastics. there is a lot of reinforcement going on there. I guess if you get the parts from toyota world anything is possible.....

its possible, i did it on a talon of mine, have pics somewhere, i made a mini roll cage so it had the side reinforcements along with a sort of cross bar, was a fun trip! only the sealing looked like ass and was a pain to put the roof piece back on, imo unless you have nothing better to do, its kinda a waste and an irreversable modification that could turn into a joke in the long run.

i dont think it looks right, the celica is not long enought and looks like ur just trying to look like a supra. and if u actually go sit in ur car and see where u would cut it, it goes 2 far back. like if u look to your side the B pillar is right in your face.
