hello

simple question I have ask my mates one thinks its to do with engine number other thinks its grand turing.

what does GT stand for ?
what does it do?

I had always assumed it meant Grand Touring. What does it do? It makes your car have more horsepower.

then what doest ST mean? i always thougt they were flashy letters... like EX, DX or SI if you own a honduh

GT first meant Gran Turismo, like the game. And i think that means Grand Touring.

GT -Grand Touring normally because the race cars with such badging were designed for endurance racing..

GT4 is called that because the GT4 is all wheel drive i.e. 4 wheel drive. so the long version would be "Grand Touring 4 Wheel Drive"

i found out what st and gt mean

st means sports touring

gt means ground touring.

the (first gen) celica also came in other exterior packages such as: extra touring, luxury touring...
