It wouldn't be too important to have (with the car being FF) but it would look great.

The car being black i see no reason for making them functional as it should be difficult to see the difference. I say just paint the damn thing and put it on.

I love your wheel (well the design anyway)

I see you also got the z3 fenders from CyberBestbuy. Did you get the rear bumper aswell? Oh i wished i could get those as cheap as you get them in the US.

You got to look at it as functional for what?.... brake cooling Will it work ....yes
Your main problem is going to be the sheet metal. Is it 2 walled? Does it go through to the rear inner fender. I have seen plenty of accords with aerogear vents in their body. They look good, but where are they going to? The interior? What if it rains? what about a car wash? I like the custom stuff your doing, and I applaud you for doing different things. Use a heat gun, I dont know if a hair dryer is strong enough to warp the side skirt agains the car.

Just cut the hole in the side skirt, add some mesh grill and then put them on the car
Noone will ever know whether they are functional or not without looking real close biggrin.gif

QUOTE (madmods @ Mar 19, 2004 - 10:43 PM)
Does it go through to the rear inner fender.

On the Supras, it does go through the fender well. There's vent slats that you can see on the inside on the front. It woulldn't be that useful on a Celica though.
As for water getting in there, its the same thing as the wheel throwing water up into the fender well also so that wouldn't hurt anything.

Also, Nik are you plannin on getting those skirts molded to your car (I imagine so) and if you are can you let us know how much that costs you. I really like the way it looks and was thinking about doing it down the road also.

I mainly want to do them because for right now no one else has them that i know of i could be wrong

smile.gif the project starts this weekend if everything works out i'm going to try and fiber glass to tube part for the air dam to the back side of the fender well to make it functional
