You won't find one with an airbag.

if your airbag is deployed you also have to replace the censor not just the airbag

There are ones with the airbag speed toe....98+ 6GC 3 spoke had airbags and 7th gen sttering wheels have airbags. TRD Steering wheels have airbags...etc...

And my AIRBAG is not deployed...I just wanted a steering wheel without having to get rid of the "safety" of the airbag.

Why did you ask if you think you know it all? I was replying that you won't find a steering wheel that fits all your criteria. One of those was that it be under $250. Good luck finding an airbag module for under $250, let alone the steering wheel with it. The 7th gen airbags will not work in a 6th gen. I've talked to people that have tried it. The trd wheels are pretty much 7th gen wheels with some trim changes, so same story with them. I've never seen a 98+ wheel I guess, I'd like to see pics of that. Good luck finding one.

Ok...First of all Speedtoe, you are the one acting like you know it all?

All I asked was if anyone out there would sell me one for under $250 (probably Used if its from a person)....I didn't ask a question about wanting to know something....If I already know something, I wouldn't ask to know it again and I would have asked in another forum section...

Second, you didn't say anything about "fitting my criteria"...all you said was "You won't find one with an airbag." Where as I can prove and replied that the 7th Gen can fit and there are 98+ ones with airbags.

I was just seeing if anyone would sell it like that because I saw 7th Gen steering wheels with airbags for under $250 USED on ebay plus shipping and at the time I didn't have the money to buy it....which is what I am basically looking for now. I guess I could have said it more clearly but I was trying to make a genralized..wondering question.

AND the 7th gen does fit as kwanza told me and as shown in a pic of his steering wheel:
Kwanza's Interior With 7th Gen Steering Wheel
Kwanza 7th Gen Steering Wheel Closer pic

The only thing with the 7th gen is that people are not sure if the airbag works right because you would need to get into an accident to find out..hehe, but for my "safety" issue it is for when a cop pulls me over and asks about it...where I can prove that I have an airbag.

***JDM and Euro Steering wheels also seem to have been 3 spoked and would be interested in buying from them too...

Now here are pics of 98+ Steering Wheels:

http://www.6gc.net/photo.php?file=/images/...photos/60_4.jpg

For the TRD wheels they had TRD wheels that fit 6GC in japan....if that means anything to you speedtoe

Now I don't mind if you say something against me or you have a problem with something I say....HOWEVER, if you say things like "Why did you ask if you think you know it all?" Make sure you know what your are saying and you read what people say correctly. Because the way you said things was like you knew it all, where I know you know a lot more than me, but don't try to make others look stupid....There are nicer ways to say things, like "I thought or I think that you won't be able to find one at that price or I am not sure but I don't think the 7th gen fits." AND not "Why did you ask if you think you know it all" ESPECIALLY since I was just wondering if anyone out there would sell me one and not asking if there WAS ONE OUT THERE Well, I really don't mind...hehe you can talk how ever you want...but it just felt like you were being mean to me.

The reply post I was giving you was just to suggest what I knew, but it just seemed like you were trying to shut me down in some way and I don't know why.

I was trying to help and you gotta be a d1ck and cry about it. See where that gets you in life. Sorry I wasn't 100% right and didn't sugar coat everything for you.

I really don't think those airbags will work. Airbags are very sensitive devices and unless they are in the vehicle they are designed for, they will likely not work properly. They could even be dangerous.

I was trying to show you the pics you wanted, even find ones that fit "your criteria" and you go about and be an a$$ and cry about it. See where that gets you in life. Sorry I wasn't trying to be a dick, but I thought you were going to be mature about it, since you were wrong. Be nice once in a while, you may be able to get that stick out of your a$$.

If the airbag doesn't work...it doesn't work. Its my problem. As for the 98+, it probably has a better chance of working. But thanks for caring.

Airbags most likely won't work (OBD1 vs. OBD2)... steering wheel will fit (toyota uses the same splines/hubs for nearly ALL of their cars). Even if you managed to splice in the plug, there are other components that engage the airbag deployment, so they probably aren't compatable. It'll be a big waste of money to buy an airbag then have it not work... IMO. I know from experience... but I lucked out and got mine cheap.

As for price... an airbag alone can run upwards of 300+ dollars, with a steering wheel around 50-100 dollars. That's not retail... that's for sale USED. It might be cheaper on eBay... but that's eBay for you... and it's always a risk. As far as someone selling you a complete unit for 250.00... well... good luck. As stated before... a driver-side airbag ALONE with run upwards of 200-300+ dollars.
