I have a turbo timer that came with my clip...and it has 4 exposed wires from the timer's harness...long black (probably ground), red (probably power) and 2 other colors (most likely ignition). I just need to know where and what wires need to be spliced into. Nothing fancy, just the basics. Thanks guys.

Why does it matter if Mike did the harness, or if you even have a swap?

The TT wires dont have anything to do with the ECU unless you have options like A/F ratio or speed or something like that.

You probably are right with the black and red, then 1 has to be for igntion, the other is probably for your ebrake. Pretty sure that one is grey. As for the igntion I would have to take a look.

Well the reason I asked about the harness wiring is because, I wasn't sure if the ignition wiring color had been changed or not. I didn't want someone saying "Splice into the green one" and it end up being the wrong one. I'm sure you understand. Better safe than stupid, right? LoL. But if you can get back to me on which wires to splice into, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Do you have an alarm? I have a Viper alarm and theres a feature which doesnt allow the car to be started if broken into. I had to disconnect that in order to allow the car to remain on, and set the alarm.

Well, right now i have your average Toyota Theft Deterrant system. I'm not as interested in bypassing that as I am just having the turbo timer itself work. Thanks.

Just don't go by color - and any turbo timer should have a diagram for the All trac 3SGTE or the MR2 Turbo, those are the same as your ECU, let me know if you need further help.

It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work.

But would it make my work any easier to splice into the wires by the key next to the steering column? Then I would need a diagram for my car, correct? Or do you just recommend splicing into the IGN wires right by the ECU itself? I have a diagram for the ECU. Thanks.
