i just got an S2000 start button kit from ebay the other day, and i can't figure where to put it ive been thinking in place of the cig lighter, but i don't know...
any 6GC owners have one installed or just give me ideas where to put it. thanks a lot.

you can take out the cig lighter and install it there, it looks slick! wink.gif That way you don't have an ugly cig adapter hanging out in your dash, you can just hook it up behind the dash, its a great spot for it! smile.gif

Mold the button into the Cig lighter spot, Id look good there. I was gone do that and then on the side there mold in 2 protector switches, and activation Leds for the Nitrous....

I decided I needed the cig lighter (cell phone charger for me or my frineds), and the areas next to it are my convertible buttons..

yeah those are the 2 main spots(left vent and cig lighter) i like most, but can't discide which one?!?!?!?!?....... confused.gif

Crazy idea guys........how about getting an aftermarket auto shifter and wiring the s2000 button to the OD button??.......flame away. It was just a thought.

I was going to say on the vent, but thats already taken, you could relocate your emergency flash button, then put in there.....

Hehe LatinKraze, actually I was looking into those aftermarket shifters. The only ones I like tho are the T shifter ones but I dont' really like THOSE. They're not the best in my opinion...

So, looking for something similiar.. and then I've gotta rewire the OD button somewhere else, and figure out a way to make the shift button work (push down shifter? maybbee)

Push down shifter........I test drove my friends VW and the reverse is right under first and second gear.

It might be possible to do but, i guess it might be pricey.

I'm not too fond of those "T" shifters either.

I think these would be more suitable. Still round for shifting and had the OD button you can rewire to make it the starter button. I think it has the pressed in at all times so its not in the way.
