before you do the swap you need to make a video of you blowing the motor up. Total destruction is always fun wink.gif

oh yeah, I like the way your new celica looks. It looks in good shape to have that many miles on it.

I can't say I'd agree. I've beat around the bush with cars and tuning basically since I could handle tools (and a car for that matter)... and currently... I'd much prefer a mild-powered screaming little street car that can handle the corners as opposed to a big power big torque turbo machine that can do little more with that power, other than go straight. I guess maybe cause I was greased up that way (big block V8's... turbo straight 6's) since I was little changed my outlook on what makes a car really shine... ENJOYMENT. Of course I'd love to have a big power dragster, or a turbo charged beast, but my appetite craves twists and curves... Straight lines will always come to an end...

Maybe a well balanced machine with power to pull the straights and agility to thrash the corners... hmm... maybe... but each sacrifices for the other in some ways...

u can never have enough.

True.

My Curren was quite good but i wanted more and i got the GT4. 3 months of actual driving it and i crave for more. My mechanic has a GT4 in his shop of a guy that spent thousands to get it up to 400+ and now sold the engine and started all over to go up to 700bhp. When its enough? nobody really knows.

I'd rather have a GT than an M3. In the UK people who drive M3's are generally regarded as complete w*nkers. I was passed by one at the end of a dual carridgeway a few weeks ago, he used the central reservation to get past and kicked up a stone which shattered my windscreen. If I ever catch him I'll cut off his valve caps. mad.gif

EDIT: I'd rather have a well tuned GT4 than a GT though... mmm 350bhp....

Well built B18 Integras are VERY fast... regardless of trim.

Our cars aren't exactly "fast" either... Even base models Tegs will walk slightly modded ST's... and GT's...

I drove a WRX last night with basic bolt ups. HOT DAMN!!! He turned the boost up before he let me drive it and I was like thats cool. I get in it and since it was the first beautiful night of the year all sorts of street cars were out. So im sitting behind a modded GSR he started revving we didnt race but I revved to like 5kRPM's (which blow-does occur from nuetral) and the kid put his head out the window looked back and gave me a thumbs up. So any way when that bitch hits 4KRPM's it was the best feeling in the world-then later after driving for an hour I had to drive the GT redface.gif which was a big bummer.

i dunno guys my dream cars are the 97 m3 supra or mr2 turbo.....so i drove my buddys m3 last weekend because i changed his pulley's and tuned his car a little bit. so i drove it to philly for the races and it made me feel sooooo powerful sitting it that drivers seat and to know that i could chirp the tires when ever i wanted made me so happy...so i get back to my car and i turn onto route 1 and i floored it thinking i could get the same feeling....then i said out loud "who am i kidding"....so yea.....i did the speed limit the whole way home and drove like a normal person instead of driving like an a$$hole

you so read my post the wrong way (due to my bad wording, however!) lol... When i said newest, fastest, most stylish, ect... i diddent mean all rolled into one (although that would be nice as well biggrin.gif ). personally my thing is to have a decently fast car that can handle, I agree with you 100% on that one... straight lines are boring. I was basically saying that we all love cars for one reason or another- some love the speed, some love the styling, some love the ability to work on them, and so on. We love out cars differently from our washing machine, because to us it goes way beyond getting to the grocery store and back, that sorta thing.
