Is it posible to take a US version of the GT and swap the interior out for an over seas verion (so the driver is on the right side of the car).

yeah someone, at one point was selling everythig you need to do the swap... but yeah, you would need a good amount of stuff though, like your going to have to relocate your sterring colum an pedels an all that good stuff, dosnt dseem woth it to me.

Yeah...but you dont really see alot of cars with the driver on the right side where i live so... it would be different

I think they'd notice when u pull in for inspections and your on the wrong side of the car... I mean the people there are usually not so educated as to tell the difference between a stock engine and a swapped one, but i think they'll notice the driver on the wrong side...

its not illegal to have a rhd car, look at the postal delivery trucks. but why you would want to go through all the effort to do a conversion, or even consider it for that matter is beyond me.

I think the swap is easly done for prob around 1k. Its not Illegal to have a RHD drive car and there is no special registering. Gotta get a VIN number from the DMV and its just like any other car. Only thing your gonna have to worry about is Insurence. My Team has 3 RHD cars and the insurence is way to much. GTR R34 Skylines , and a Teggy. The Insurence is well over 1k a month for the sky's and the Teggy is about 500$ or so.

i actually reseached this and called and asked sum1 who imports stuff a while ago. all the cars that were crash tested were tested US style...thats y there all illegal, EXECPT the skyline its the only import car to be crash tested in the euro style therefore its legal...with the exception of govt vehicles(mail)

Well i know you can import a GT-4 in to the US so why would you not beable to change out the interior doesnt make much sence to me if you can do one but not the other.
